The first part in B/W could be seen as a journey to bid his brother a moving adieu by transporting the ashes of Pirandello, whose works have been adapted by the brothers, to his Sicilian homeland. Whereas the second part in color is quite confusing for us who have never read the story before. The shift from grey to color is poetic though

导演运用了很多视觉上的小心思去诠释这样一个叙事诗的题材，和鬼魅浮生一样，整体调性过于装腔作势，使得虚伪骑士毁灭过程流于表面。
这片摄影和灯光好厉害，在大银幕上看真的很爽。故事倒是非常简单，拿掉身份设定其实是个男性成长的故事。

有诡秘的诗意感 但演员都不够charismatic 无法让我沉浸其中
有点新版《麦克白》的feel，各种装神弄鬼的逼范也算是把你哥糊弄住了。此片只宜正常速度看。

长篇叙事诗。导演野心很大，敢用亚瑟王圆桌骑士的故事玩meditation，听说借鉴了塔可夫斯基的《安德烈•卢布廖夫》，学习尚未成功，还有继续努力的空间，还可以再大胆一点。
一个“迪士尼公主”，披了一层“聊斋皮”，喷上“A24香水”。难受。

低于预期，对大卫洛维有点失望，故事太简单，叙事有点古板，只有精美的画面能看看。
