演员选得尤其好，不知道香港是怎么找出苏桦伟几个年龄段之间这么相似而演技又这么好的演员的。
比起摔爸洛奇这种运动片，这片更多地是延续了香港近几年关乎与写底层与人的关系之间的讨论。像是沦落人，一念无明这样的。关于残疾人自己的身份认同，家庭关系的段落，运动员的处境，以及中港关系的一些隐喻。

很感人。不知道后来的苏桦伟怎么样了，在做些什么。同工同酬，现在还是没实现吧。
止于情绪唤起的励志传记。中国特色的母爱是沉重的，也是令人窒息的。
吴君如演的真好。体育电影中的上乘之作，有几个点很感动。现实中的苏桦伟好看。
母亲给的鼓励很伟大，也很窒息，只能说孩子还是不错的，没有毅力的孩子，母亲怎么鞭打也没用。
於是，初審能把此片送入5強，有一半，是衝著母慈子孝，另外一半，是跟這代人，即年輕人，站在一起。

从母子关系入手的励志传记片，相对工整和类型，弱在人物知名度和情感过于沉重，为了煽情而沉重反而基调低沉了许多
想到了岁月神偷，对香港运动员的难处描绘得到位。吴君如很适合这个题材，但必须要看粤语原声才能体会到那个神韵。
伟大的妈妈成就了伟大的运动员。谢谢古先生的投资，为这些生活困难的运动员发声。

两小时背景音乐不间断属实算感官操纵了，看这部片子更觉出了《桃姐》的好了，与其大张旗鼓的用特写和音响强奸感官，不如静静的隔着玻璃窗看人世间悲欢离合。踩到了国语场次的雷，听吴君如的配音也是时刻出戏了。但竞技比赛永远撼动人心，它是渺小人类向宇宙之巅的进发。ps：坐在包场影院中打完了上面的短评，属实有点点失望；pps：这场音响大到离谱，耳聋了🧏♂️
从爬到走再到跑的过程太顺滑了，还是希望看到一点克服障碍的桥段。
