The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 果然还得是有血腥气，才会让动作戏更吸引人。情感浓度没有OVA好，前半程都挺不错的，剑心怎么遇见巴，俩人在客栈里来来回回的试探和若即若离的关系。但是到了乡下反而生出一种完成拍摄任务的感觉，影调不再那么暧昧了。
感想如下：
纷乱如麻的时代背景下，权利和野心冠上“守护幸福”之名，两个人也好，一群人也好，不过是被利用的工具罢了。
剧情就不说了，太烂了。但拔刀斋时期的还原度真的绝了，砂糖还原了剑心的脆弱、狂气和美感。唯一的遗憾在于村花确实不适合雪代巴，要是换成苍井优就选角完美了。masa看起来太幼了也不太适合未婚夫其实。。。
动作戏精彩。武士、女人不过都是被政治家利用而已。
影片拍得很认真，佐藤健出刀快准狠，架势颇有味道。古朴的草屋，带泥的萝卜，字迹行云流水的日记乃至飘落的细雪都很精细，除了女主假发。回忆之时情感流动，刽子手也有过人间烟火味。
动画原版雪代巴一眼万年，有村架纯雪代巴一言难尽……人生何处不相逢，拍片何必找网红……顶级配置的剑戟武指加上十年高保真还原度的人气，最后落实在一个垫底辣妹身上，没有逆袭，从头到尾都在塌方。
但同样搞不太懂的是，这个事情是不是真的很有必要去说明白呢？

很讨厌其他几部浓浓的cos感，属于是美术摆烂的行为
那些以全民福祉 以抽象大义为名的宏伟目标啊
剑心形象不合预期，以及毫无由来地厌恶组长的脸。等不到女主出场就看不下去了，标一下（分这么高，如果能欣赏得了就好了）。

终于等来了网飞中字版上线，整个系列里最喜欢的一部。

怎么说呢…这一部的确是动画的剧场版珠玉在前了，差了口气的感觉
前传比前四部都好看，没有过多复杂的人物，完完全全是剑心的故事，画面真的唯美。
桂先生立刻懂了,笑容逐渐凝固..... 然后接下来， 巴和剑心的对话，巴的表情也挺有趣的
