馬丁團隊的四不像劇作，似曾相識的專業賭戲+出租車司機翻版再翻版；編劇不適合當導演重要的事說三遍，被一幕幕“杯中酒”支配的感覺太詭異了…

男主的扑克脸表情控制也很到位。
没想到是忏悔录 跟赌博其实没几毛钱关系 节奏是真的慢 剧情也是靠猜
就像男主光着身子坐在桌前，却穿戴整齐躺在床上。赌博者和监狱虐囚两个主题穿插得满是违和感，让作为观者的我感到情绪被切割成很多块，无法拼装。
讲自我救赎的公路片，男主角的人设细节设计的很好，剧情拍的太平淡了，观感有点闷
关于救赎的故事，赌场只是背景，预告片和正片是两部电影。
有些拍摄手法比如鱼眼广角是有趣的，但是大部分故事线动机都非常薄弱…救赎的合理性也没有讲的很清楚…爱情线也太突兀了…
说实话，本作卡斯阵容也相当不错：
威尼斯主竞赛的片子，看片名以为是讲赌博的，实际却是自我救赎的故事…剧情设计有亮点，但整体讲的很平淡，爱情线更是有点莫名，好在Oscar Isaac是真的帅…
