The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 恐怖片血浆片想拍就好好拍，没必要整这么多zz隐喻，搞得很复杂，很沉重，所以这就是为什么黑人一直没法提升自己的地位，他们想到的摆脱白人统治的方法就是暴力屠杀的恶灵，把candyman拍的有些正义就很可怕。不过电影的一些血浆还是很不错的，最后蜜蜂环绕的感觉也很棒。

蛮好的，每一段皮影戏都是一个因为种族问题而产生的悲剧，整个戏很多画面和运镜能看出来导演蛮有灵气的。
只要这种不公一天不消失，糖果人就一直存在。
告诉所有人什么？说你在杀白人？什么狗屁电影，隐喻弄的过度，散布仇恨，毫无章法。
惊悚元素挺好的，但是主题太直白就拉低档次了。
布景很精致，他们的公寓都好漂亮。BLM主题，故事平淡，完全没有惊吓点，作为恐怖片不合格。工作日白天去看几乎包场。
女导演挺自我的，不少画面看得出来追求，就是忽略惊悚片本质的氛围塑造和氛围接氛围的设计。
确实矫情，如病态的呻吟，除了几段情色片段有刺激感，全篇要表达的那种呐喊，层级差很多的无奈，和底层的孤单与挣扎都没有表现到位，观众无法产生共鸣
身在芝加哥Near North Side，在离Cabrini Green几百米远的地方看这部电影，耳边呼啸着警笛声，仿佛身临其境

欧美恐怖片的恐怖要素真是乏善可陈啊。都市传说永远不如宗教邪典来得带劲。
我想看童谣恐怖片，你给我整黑人政治正确。杀人者被杀者都坏的莫名其妙，大声喊五下糖果人可以召唤黑魔法杀手。皮影戏少许亮点。入围2021最受期待恐怖片是这个德行。
其实各种主角设定都可以，为何非得整什么艺术家，尤其是演得不怎么像的黑人艺术家，看着很出戏。

都是讲述有关种族的事，得对黑人的历史有一定了解才能看得懂。
前半段的视觉效果惊艳。可惜收尾仓促，对社会种族问题的挖掘流于表面。

本片传承自92版Candyman，当初的Candyman是白人圣母，本片的candyman是圣母搭救的婴儿，长大成人，继承成为Candyman。
