The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 加菲完全融入了角色，这一次他很用力，褒义的。
剧情主线单薄，剧中剧的表现形式有帮助避短但效果有限；加菲很努力但这片像音乐剧的感觉还是大大重于像电影，他也像在演剧而不是电影。
口水歌真不好听，故事线和情感线毫无波澜，技法一般，言之无物，题材吃香是唯一的亮点吧。加菲猫煽情起来，他不尴尬，别人很尴尬。
更明白滴答滴答嘣，明白心底倒数的走针声。
今年个人最佳，一个创作者首先要走出个人的部分，放下要求别人理解自己复杂感受的期待，去理解别人，在一次次实践中尝试出一条自己的路，它才有可能成为自己。

这部电影没有全然采用那一套常规的“有志者事竟成”理论，相反，它指出了一个艺术家想要被认同是异常艰难的，他需要付出巨大代价，付出时间、金钱、爱情，最后还可能输给命运。电影对梦想的质问也充满哲学寓意：究竟是因为热爱，还是惧怕？我想这是一种习惯，更是一种不甘。“梦想”与“自由”听起来都是遥不可及的概念，但是你努力的每一天，可能都是走向成功日的倒数。

加菲跟电影原型有些神似 在浮躁的社会能坚持一件事真的弥足珍贵 但现实比电影残酷多了 看完即将30的我更加焦虑了

好听好看又有新意。已经难以归纳类型了，但就是这种打破类型和结构限制的叙事方式，另观众的代入感更强，能够完全被情绪所沐浴。在两个小时的市场内仿佛走完了男主角的一生。加菲完全值得一个影帝提名。
诺大可发挥空间最后却靠LGBT故事来燃情。
为何总在梦想终点止步？为何总会留下遗憾？那便是生命的倒数时刻在无声呐喊。
传记加歌舞电影更是容易产生浓厚的割裂感，大概更适合舞台，适合突破第四面墙来面对面的共鸣
这几年我唯一能欣赏的歌舞剧只有lalaland。
