The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 不给此片打5星好像不够pc，但标准得如同教科书的好莱坞优等生拿奖片……是试图唤醒21世纪观众对60年代的回忆吗，还是对逝去时代的无声悼念。确实导演给了左翼分子们绝对优势的展示，但说不出为什么，还是觉得并没有预示着更好的明天。可能因为我就活在这个明天中吧
艾伦索金的政治倾向真是个迷……而我已经对这种要做爱不要作战的口号式表面热血完全无感了。
是否存在一个民权运动电影的现象？《芝加哥七君子审判》是目前看到最成熟的，无论是叙事线把握整合的能力还是煽情的能力（沉默与暴力的对接是最显见的精彩剪辑），奇怪的是，要为这类电影做一个精彩的收尾莫非真是一件难事？太泄气了
那一代人其实往往也在失控的边缘，peace 和love 也可能演变为暴动，而法庭给了一个特别平复情绪的地方。

很多年前，我们都觉得外国好极了，美国最佳。后来我们觉得外国好糟，美国最甚。其实都是管窥蠡测。电影里50年前理想主义就可以这么好，庆幸50年后的今天理想主义者尤在，而且处在全球影视文化的塔尖，所以才会拍出这部电影。
