The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 80年代巴黎，一个失婚女性，一个单亲家庭，一个失足少女简单的重拾人生的情景，连故事都谈不上，但就拍得巨舒服，巴黎的这种温暖的气质我真的不认识。
用档案影像完成匹配剪辑的另一侧，加上电子音乐的使用，当然还有侯麦与电影院，80年代的巴黎以非常规的方式被再造，非常好地契合了电影节电影今次的脉搏。

在混乱痛苦的当下，文艺电影并不能让我有共鸣，但这部呈现出太不一样的巴黎。巴黎可以是艺术的、浪漫的、激进的、杂乱的、优雅的，但居然也可以是忧伤无解和带给人抚慰的。新的一天可能是迎来离别，也可能是迎来新生。Gainsbourg的演技和平缓的ost comfort me。
黑夜尚有的温存，留藏在午夜人的心声中。回忆是过去种下的疤痕，在它生根发芽之后，及时的疗治是不可多求的可能，尤其是在这孤独的城市中。

人物、故事其实并没有那么出色，但复古味道强烈的影像和音乐，以及从观影过程中感受到的对巴黎浓烈的爱，这些元素融合所产生的忧郁却又梦幻的氛围，为电影带来了独特且有着后劲的出色观感。三星半。

没有歇斯底里，是非常平静的生活修补，甘斯布的状态可太好了，自然，松弛，夜色和情绪的流淌都很顺畅。

今早在淅沥的雨声中看完的。豆瓣统计我看过127部法国电影，但没有一部和它一样。尤其是在现今的2022年，竟然还能看到如此赤诚的电影，真的让人意想不到，如获至宝！
