The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 剧情基本没有什么槽点，很汉克斯的风格，没有过于激烈的剧情冲突，稳健地讲述出了一场人，机器人，狗的公路旅行。
没想到的是汉克斯老了还要再演一把荒岛余生…
对毛茸茸的小可爱没有抵抗力。
剧情比较简单，一人一狗一机器人，末日后公路片，结局可预见，温情可期待。
像极了《三体2》中描述的＂黑暗森林法则＂。

对于同类的不信任，以致只愿意对一只狗承担责任，造一个机器人爱自己，是末世宅的慰籍。
老汤一人撑起一部戏了不起，一人一狗一机器全程没有尿点也很牛逼，就是设定有点扯淡，为了故事而故事，特别是AI都有了，还在听卡带和CD，还不能自己研发点二氧化碳生成淀粉之类的技术？
汉克斯最套路的那类角色，几乎完美无瑕的美式英雄，故事的呈现也比简介还要来的没创意。
应该拍成《爱，死亡，机器人》的某一集，搞成真人长片，着实有点浪费资源了。

居然不是 Netflix 出品？这就是 Love, Death and Robot 啊！噢，还有条 Dog 哈哈哈。
这个机器人让我联想起Athlete的Tourist专辑封面的那个机器，再配一曲里面的Street Map，想想都觉得是个perfect match。或许只是我一个人的臆想，又或许，有人同感吗？

雖然不乏編劇硬來的強設定，但那份善意和暖意還是挺讓人動容
