单独看Asian American的故事还是可以的，但是故事本身还是个皮克斯经典故事内核套了个异域文化壳子的电影……没啥新意也没有很感人。。

「虎妈猫爸」式的育儿经变奏曲，内核就挺东亚的——极强超我约束下，如何释放本我，发展自我，这种经验还挺具有普遍性的。
有点硬，但换个角度想，一些东西为什么会成为“刻板”或许是有道理的。最共情的地方竟然是追星现场……我也好想看线下演唱会啊淦

影片完美还原了许多中国特色，中国祀堂，加拿大的唐人街，用小熊猫作为设定，门口的石狮子换成了小熊猫，还有经典的道士、神话传说，发生在2002年的元素应有尽有，包括人物眼睛放大时的画风，操场桌椅底下的口香糖，年代感古装电视剧。
这也太好了，太可爱了没人会不喜欢红熊猫。非常中式的命题，太适合和家人一起看……（有没有用就另说了）（宇宙的终极：I’m proud of you）
