The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 前半部分一直在吐槽儿子，最后老亨利一段话觉得原来培养一个平凡普通的儿子是他的欣慰之处，老亨利果然很能打，一个打九个很可以！高手身上总有种又稳又坦荡的感觉！
我不相信救赎，但看着你抚育你这样的孩子让我觉得生命有意义。大概就是这么个意思吧。剧情不复杂，脉络清晰，不拖泥带水。唯一的不足是缺乏张力来弥补稍显单一的剧情。

编剧很取巧，运用了比利小子英雄迟暮解甲归田谢幕之战这样的噱头看点，摄影技巧说得过去，前半段剧情进展过于缓慢，不过胜在结尾高潮部分枪战写实精彩
西部片的一波三折，还是跌宕起伏的。
近些年西部片越来越少了，差点被豆瓣评分给失误了。值得看，节奏ok，配乐到位！

3.5，故事很简单，但是完成的非常高，大量的环境描写有别于传统的西部片
很好的故事设计，既延续了传奇（或重新演绎了传奇），又隐喻了现实，一举两得。决战场面的设计很精彩，结尾的反转也恰到好处。近年来难得好看的西部片。
总感觉有那么丁点的沉闷和小格局，不过还是有西部味了
