The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 3.0。运用非布列松的表演方式和剪辑节奏，去表现布列松的电影内核，这是矛盾而无效的。除去鱼眼镜头带来的压迫感，整体极为散漫。
“算牌人”的身份似乎并不重要，只是用来认识女主和快速筹钱的背景板。但这恰是全片最迷人的地方之一，我们等待男主一掷千金一夜暴富一雪前耻，我们等待牌局作为翻盘的机会，甚至我们就是在等待输或赢的结果。最后，轻飘飘的，他走了。

导演功力不够 把主题拍得小而浅 但是镜头处理得很好 所以不至于给一颗星（只要忍住前一半的无聊还是能坚持看完的

在这个年代看到这种风格的片子，让人感动，节奏缓慢，却又娓娓道来，会讲故事的人，什么时候都可以讲好一个逼近真实的故事。
导演和音乐很不错，故事到后面有点崩，让我有些昏昏欲睡。
以反类型之眼观物，“异常”严肃认真的语气驱动影像的inner groove形成某种特殊的张驰之力。好几个摇臂推进的俯视镜头经常给人一种恍惚和间离感，人物仿佛不属于此刻，而是永远流寓在生活的螺旋中。
B那些鱼眼镜头还挺不错的，反应人物的内心，这片真的挺《出租车司机》的

Comme un fantôme du passé traumatisant qui hante le présent, le héro ne cesse d'errer dans des lieux publics impersonnels ambiancés par une mise en scène sèche et sidérante. Conte cruel dans une Amérique sans échappatoire ni rédemption possible.

能理解导演想表达的意思，许多镜头设计也很好，看了许多评论，确实导演反类型，反高潮的风格，不是我的菜。
