The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 略失望 配乐和剪辑一般般 当友人描述曾经在爱达荷看到的景色 刚要眼泛泪光 配乐接着就起了 每次配乐起就像是在说我们要进入人物内心时刻了！要么就是路上经历的混剪 告诉我们她这样过了一段时间～总之记录式的镜头在这里并没有起到什么作用 反而让剧情部分显得更刻意
夕阳与清晨中广阔无垠的平原风景，山脉、森林与荒原，在摄影上与带着悲伤基调的配乐将人物内心表现得淋漓尽致。
真诚与真诚之间，有一段温存的怀疑。赵婷喜欢将镜头裹着倾斜与呼吸感，怼到她关注的事物上去。她的特写透露着一种关切。

那些真实的人物在镜头下述说自己的经历，这时候的主角特别像一个聆听的记者，而那些路上遇到的对象像一个个受访者，怎么讲呢，这种处理也不是说好与坏，总觉得略刻意。see you down the road.

一位中年美国妇女如何走出丧夫孤地。赵婷对性格偏执的人物很痴迷，前作《骑士》中因骑马几乎弊命但仍不愿放弃的骑手，本片中沉沦丧夫阴影一直遇到脱离孤岛机会又屡次选择独自上路的女人。两片都是在“要不要放弃”的进退两难中纠结，最终都以找到心中答案而走出藩篱。人生是一场接一场的告别，但永远都不要说永别，只要在路上，总会在某个无依之地遇到最美的记忆。
