剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     喜欢这个改编，情节更着重Lucien去到巴黎后的部分，突出1820s波旁王朝复辟时期，巴黎的文学、媒体、戏剧、贵族圈的“怪物”群像。把Lucien的尴尬拍得让观众都尴尬。围绕Lucien的人都有俩俩对比，风流狂妄的记者Étienne Lousteau和相对高尚的写作者 Nathan d’Anastazio；自私怯懦的贵妇和痴心单纯的女演员。编辑部里鸭子四散走，猴子决定一本书的好坏。影像里层出不穷的荒诞意象，与多兰不断提示悲惨结局的旁白交错推进，Lucien越是接近梦想中的巴黎贵族生活，观众越是悬而未定地惊心。就讽刺得很性感。
