剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     看片名以为会是个决胜21点的故事，实际上还是保罗·施拉德《第一东正会》那种受困过往回忆的主角渴望救赎的路子，所以突破性不太大，赌博在这里不过是暂时逃避痛苦的手段，同时也指代了男主未知的命运，关塔那摩监狱那段的鱼眼变形镜头还挺妙，荒唐与扭曲被呈现了出来，整体还是很克制，有种苦行僧的感觉，伊萨克花白头发造型好评。

    剧本值得细品，前期铺垫算牌人过往的部分很老辣，不知不觉就被算牌这个麦高芬带到他的内心世界，挣扎和期望建立起来之后再推倒。Tye Sheridan的角色算是外化算牌人内心矛盾冲突的其中一方。节奏控制很好，创造出惊悚悬疑感。Paul Schrader说把男主角安排成算牌人是因为算牌是等待的游戏。不足的可能只有视听，朴赞郁拍的话可以再拔高一个台阶。
