The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 作为一部喜剧电影，藏在电影里面的包袱简直太棒了。好笑，出人意料，且不刻意。
2022开年黑马之作，小成本制作但相当用心，配乐好好听好舒服。广东非潮汕人表示看得懂，毕竟身边潮汕人挺多而且工作原因去过潮汕好多次，文化风俗美食都拍得很贴地气，简直把我看饿了。只是末段拍得反差有点大，突然去到西湖有点突兀，结束的飞机长镜头不知道想表达什么，男主演技一般天台分手戏太尬了。好久没试过完全依靠字幕看电影，眼睛太累了而且也错过了好多细节。

从客观的角度看，整体呈现不错。不过有些片段，还是让人感觉有点不舒服吧。
