The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 真实事件改编，借一次所谓的恐怖事件，反映当时南非的种族黑暗……影片的细节刻画也很出色，人性的种种令人唏嘘。

南非真实历史值得了解，但是这个拍的就是有点老套了。

电影版画面很唯美、故事讲的也很好；
贵在真实，不要当成一般的警匪片就不会有拍的不好的感觉了。自由的代价是一切。种族歧视的抗争

有人为了自由能舍弃一切，有人为了职责能奉献一生。
刻意煽情，这种程度的所谓反抗是不能成事的。
最后一幕拍的真好。whats the price of freedom? everything.
建立在谎言之上的形象，都是假象。
What’s the price of freedom? Everything!!!
萦绕于心的自我否定与怀疑。
演员大多都还不错，其余方方面面都很欠缺。拍摄，剪辑，台词，剧情的设计都经常莫名其妙，也不能说是粗糙，用心但能力有限吧。真实事件改编，题材有点被可惜到，论流畅舒服还是欧美。
看到三分之二的时候愣是给爷整笑了。就这么放走了警察整个行动的头头？这智商也是没谁了。每个人的动机都不明，此片充分证明了南非电影水平和中国在同一个水平线。
最后那句问答 自由的代价是什么？一切。曼德拉也是传奇人物
作为少数不被认同的群体也许会很艰难吧
自由的代价是什么？Everything ! 三名南非战士行动失败被困银行，在明知没有退路之后提出释放曼德拉作为交换人质的条件，通过人质的众生相可以感受到那个时候南非种族隔离的严重性，黑人地位的低下，三位战士的牺牲最终促成了释放曼德拉运动。
