The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 三个小时看完出来走在31摄氏度的新加坡街头，觉得温度刚刚好。
【2.0】枯燥、冗长、装腔作势得让人不堪忍受，集中世纪古装片那套服化道先行和台词形式主义的臭毛病于一身。票房血扑还是挺能理解的，毕竟拍成这个样子，谁还在乎你的文本啊？
完全放弃景深的舞台剧呈现其实是非常危险的，但前景遮挡（？）的布置又成功拉出了纵深。其实好几个孩子的镜头似乎是回到电影场景给出了正反打，而不是像全篇这样保持观看的距离，但正是这种戏谑又苦中作乐的距离反叫其所书写的更加震撼人心。去成为眼睛，去成为摄影机。
