The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 美式小清新青春片，恋爱、绝症、同性、party、sex，没了。适合粉丝食用，我现在已经有点看不下去这种了。
你可以等待，甚至可以等不到，但你不可以放弃你自己。

有点反套路的青春片，两个同病相怜的男孩相遇，你以为接下来的剧情会糖分超标，结果不过是一段来也匆匆去也匆匆的露水情缘，但不完满才是人生，现实中根本没有那么多所谓的不离不弃和至死不渝。经历一段人生中难以为外人道的艰难时刻，亲情、友情、爱情都会经受考验，哪些人才是生命中值得珍惜的人便会自然揭晓。戳爷身上除了带有十足的少年感外，那份破碎感和脆弱感令他在镜头前别具一股莫名的吸引力。
故事就很随便啦，以戳爷为首的一众年轻演员的演技也十分糟糕，艾伦伯斯汀的表演轻轻松松吊打他们。当然这种电影本就是奔着消遣去的，有帅哥就行了。

虽然有但是不够好
海边的仙女棒、夜晚的双人自行车、无人游乐场、并不好吃的乳蛋饼、打折冰沙、提前打烊在零工超市开爬梯、翻窗而入朋友的房间。青春的元素，无论怎样都是轻盈活力的，至少从远处来看是的。
我之前一直觉得戳爷和甜茶长得挺像，都是一种类型的少年感。长到现在觉得戳爷颜值还是更高一些，甜茶只在cmbyn里是天花板。感觉像在看另一版本题材不同的爱你西蒙，但没后者好看，剧情松松散散的。主要其实还是讲一个gay teenager的青春一夏。
将成长的痛这一题材拍得较为轻巧明快，流露出满满的青春感。剧情和手法比较常规，戳爷自然而然成为了电影的亮点
评价是不如爱你西蒙，我肤浅我喜欢看happy ending
人物矛盾起落是有点僵硬，但戳爷真美好啊太美了太美了美哭了
