The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 胡国瀚的出圈之作，道道的年度佳片，但完全看不出好在哪里？不知道网大的评价标准是什么，但以剧情片的眼光看完全不够格，无关制作精良度，一切都是那么简单粗暴脆弱逻辑，比起《穿越火线》也差得远
结尾的突然残忍，是编剧对观众们的提醒，隔离的轻松诙谐背后是不通人性的新冠病毒，是塞满了患者的医院，是早出晚归难以喘息的一线医护人员。
战斗部分根据游戏规则，把节奏把控得很好。

真的燃起来了。每场戏的戏点都给得很足，而且翻出翻儿来了，真心可以。人物的情感动因非常饱满，没有虚情假意或者尴尬的感觉。优点真心多，真心可以秒杀一大部分院线电影了。
这真的算不上一部值得四颗星的好作品，但我永远respect这样直面观众喜好、不装逼的导演，未来可期
