The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 好久没看过剧情/制作/音乐都这么值回票价的非独立电影剧场版动画了，确实是战斗外衣下的纯爱故事，mappa十周年做得漂亮啊。

感情戏不擅长，动作戏不出彩，整个还是在用小荧幕的节奏拍大银幕的故事。

2022.05.13，比起TV更喜欢剧场版的主题表达。但作为剧场版没有怎么发挥出电影载体的优势，反而像看了一集超长的OVA。普普通通看了不亏吧。
五条悟的心会痛吧。

是那种会遗憾不能在大荧幕上见证经费燃烧的电影。对波竟然左边赢了！
感觉mappa真的不擅长处理情感，微表情、人物情绪的铺垫与转折，总是时好时不好。
