剧情介绍

The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will.     导演像极了刚上大一时不知天高地厚的新生,总觉得天降大任于斯自己,得到题目后,心高气傲地励志创作从思想深度到表现形式都惊天地泣鬼神的巨作……然鹅呢?脑子里才气有限,能力又捉鸡,功底还没熬出来,点灯熬油很久才发现刚刚开了个头!可交作业的最后期限到了,怎么办?只能用用一副破罐破摔的颓丧收了个尾~求老师看在性本善的情理上,给个及格……哈!

    黑人主创的恐怖片,看来就是要一条道走到黑了……在影片片头,环球和米高梅的logo以镜像的形式出来的时候,我大概就猜到摄影呈现模式了。本片的主角设定可是黑人的高精英阶层,既然黑人的精英阶层都认为种族问题已经无法解决,也就孕育出这种影片了。或许种族问题本就无法解决,就像傻强说的“出来混,不就是你爆他,要不他爆你咯!”

    种族压迫依旧作为故事内核,更多体现的是愤怒,但是这种愤怒通过恐怖片的叙事表达出来,那种冲击总感觉有些无力,说实话还不及《黑色党徒》最后那段狂喷带感,之所以给四星,还是喜欢皮尔乔丹那种通过镜头给予的隐忍的恐怖感

    超长版MV,广告片大拼盘,欢乐版《诺丁山》。虽然很扯,却很欢乐。没什么新创意的轻喜剧商业片,茶余饭后消遣都显得有那么些空乏无趣,但洛霸气场全开,几段歌舞热辣十足,氛围感浓烈。所以在这样的强气压之下,剧情什么的,还重要么?

    除了“女主舞台上突然发疯嫁给陌生人”那一段,其他都还不错。 看到了人物的成长,克服恐惧,找到内心真我,帮助他人的快乐。 最后的反向求婚的一幕还有点打动人心。

    本以为是一个新时代的《诺丁山》,结果看到一个颇为俗套,每个环节都浮在上面,接不到地气的爆米花娱乐片,娱乐效果够了,尤其配乐挺不错的,甚至让人推测是不是给专辑拍M V拍成电影了?可影片的内容本身还是走不到心里去

    结局看懂了导演想表达的思想,种族注意。那种在压迫下的紧绷精神,就像是电影里鬼魅的死亡阴影如影随形,那种紧张,那种疯狂,那种无力,透过电影传达给了观众。

    并不认为这种笔触蹩脚的社会寓言真的会带有恐怖色彩或者有明显的教育意义……同样的题材放在二十年前也许是反种族歧视的经典,而放在当今重拍只能说贩卖廉价情怀。艺术造诣上的高度真的会影响一部作品的感染能力,而这种题材又恰巧设置了对人道主义关怀的呼吁,所需要艺术性当然也就不是简单地把主角设置成画家就能够满足的。

    虽然很像为了宣传J lo专辑而拍的电影,但是最后真的很好哭😭剧情当然是很不现实的,但是一部欢乐的片子。小马儿银幕首秀还不错(或许是本色出演?)希望以后有更多的拍戏机会
