The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 没有想象的这么好，节奏太慢了，2个半小时，最后我加速看的，讽刺的现象都是普遍存在的，一直存在的，毕竟是著作，当时这种事情可能还值得抨击，放在现在真是见怪不怪了。

我真没想到会被这么古（老）典（旧）的叙事感染到，一些地方值得细品。
改编自巴尔扎克的半自传同名小说，《人间喜剧》里比较有价值的作品之一，只节选了青年诗人Lucien的部分，最让人惊讶的是这个描写在十九世纪法国巴黎党派倾轧、文坛腐败的恶劣风气下人性迷失理想破灭的故事，到今天仍然具有普世意义，“文学滋养幻想”，浮华资本又使其最终幻灭。电影本身旁白过多破坏了一些文学性，主角的颜值都很高，好久不见泽维尔·多兰演戏了。

空虚的人生故事被很充实地表达了出来，吕西安和他的女伴们都有一颗赤诚的灵魂
敏感自傲的年轻诗人，经历了情爱经历了世俗，靠才气成功又因为阶级失败，幻灭就在短短一瞬。
了不起的巴尔扎克，关于新闻的讽刺太应景了。本片也精心制作，不辜负名著。
