The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 不知道还有多少人能透过那一帧一秒的画面与对话体悟到庵野老贼“不落而又窠臼”“装不持而又辞辛苦”“明厌而又不厌透”，坚持到今天。
终于知道为啥当时出来一票子差评了，生生的末日剧的结尾来了个happy ending，以及让人顿时觉得这是部青春剧，讲述了一位14岁少年的成长史。这一切仿佛是场梦，最终都要回归现实。
不再只是tv时对一个男孩的心灵补完，重写了旧剧场版时男孩和女孩的结局，即使有了更多预算还是回到最初的构想，从封闭的内心迈向了更广阔的世界，重新相信爱与希望，不负二十多年的等待，这不仅是给观众一条成长的道路，更他妈是庵野秀明本人的成长与补完啊。

庵导想开了，我也想开了……虽然有不尽如人意的地方，但看完还是很震撼，就这样结束也不错。
看完两天后，仍不能释怀，把 4 集重温了一遍。被真希波圈粉了，爱了爱了，一个男孩成熟后会爱上成熟的女人。EVA，yyds。
感觉在被设定推着往前走，看的懵懵懂懂，但是还是再见了EVA
庵野你可真厉害，你释怀了，真嗣释怀了，全员释怀了。可直到片尾曲走完，当我意识到这一切已经结束的时候，心里却有种莫名的空虚。相比AIR，新版真的已经很治愈了，这20多年来，你和观众的心境都在变化，从该死的人类变为可以拯救的人类，EVA却还是那个EVA。或许我们都该从EVA里走出来了——再见了，所有的福音战士。

痞子给了每个人一个完美的结局，痞子长大了，碇源堂也终于长大了，欣慰……最后还是有点心疼真嗣，真希波是个什么鬼啊！
原来我等了那么多年，等到的是一个没长大的自闭中年的故事。完结撒花，我们终将长大，并与过去和解。
