The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 剧本写的真好，悬疑外壳下的青春励志，主题却又是反精英反标准化，什么怪学生、坏学生、不爱学习的学生、爱化妆的学生、不自信的学生、不守规矩的学生，都比所谓的精英学生开心得多

悬疑向剧场版绝赞（虽然是小新味儿的无厘头悬疑，dying message也太搞了），个人认为这是小新最好看的一部剧场版。

嗯蜡笔小新一贯的恶搞风格，这种动画显然就是认真就输了的类型，不带脑子看还是挺乐呵的，真凶算是一开始就猜到了，但中途又洗掉了嫌疑，但最后发现果然还是他。
