The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 可能根据真实经历所拍的电影都这样吧，叙事节奏一般，但依然让人觉得真实经历的那两个人了不起

看之前没看简介，看的时候发现了各种pride and prejudice的reference 笑的要死
看了半天觉得剧情好眼熟 结果一看还真是gay版傲慢与偏见 整体还口以 男主如果再好看点就完美了 不过这也是典型亚裔长相了 我也好想去海边and party哦 撒子时候才能去泰国
2022年了都还有这种情节吗 不要碰瓷傲慢与偏见 但是呢 无脑乐一乐地看一下还是可以的 毕竟亚裔主角
看得出来预算有限，但是这也不是拍成流水账的理由。作为极地探险片，没有拍出惊险刺激的感觉，雪橇失控和遇到北极熊都拍的中医中矩。而后半段作为绝境求生片，没有把绝境下的资源匮乏、心理煎熬拍出来，感觉一直有燃料和食物，在屋子里等就好了，而且突然做个梦就跑回去拿冒险笔记也是没有给出一个理由，令人费解。

谁说同性电影必须标新立异？本片和世上诞生的无数异性恋爱情片一样大俗特俗，同志也是人，天下大同，众生皆俗！谁说gay子不能在度假的同时收获一段刻骨铭心爱情？虽然过程会很曲折抓马，但本片不止步于此。 片子以亚裔的视角为切入点，在某个程度上审视了美国同志圈的精神生活、价值观、风尚，以及展现了美国长期存在的社会问题（种族歧视），因为披着彩虹的外衣，还是比较新鲜的（也许因为导演是亚裔）。除此之外，每个人物都个性鲜明，甚至在你生活当中能找到对应点。有时候尝试接受自己的软弱和平凡，低下高昂的头颅，并不代表自己是一个很差劲的人，而自以为是的人才会遭受唾弃（尽管nobody cares）。中间有玩梗，gay子们听了都心领神会，有戳中我的笑点，很适合和姐妹们一起阖家观赏！
虽然是平白的叙事，但是到最后竟然有一点震撼。冒险家总是伴随不理解而开始，归来时收获荣耀。

Fire Island作为Gay Men Cruise Culture的一个文化符号，最有名的文本莫过于Tom Bianchi的《Fire Island Pines》.前HIV时代的火烧岛既是GayMen的同类避难所，也是性解放运动的发生之地.后同志时代的喜剧中的融入了古老的Jane Austin式的PNP叙事范式，不再在纠结认同政治，转向附近性的探索与群体链接. 总是来说，故事俗辣却很适合打发时间.如今的脆弱状态也看不了太苦大仇深的东西.
