The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 小男孩和小女孩的那条线不错，结尾对待死亡的那段很触动。但，给的太硬了，三星不能再多了，我相信这个题材以后会出现更多更好的片。

没有以前导演的电影好看了，笑料不多，剧情也挺让人诧异，结局有些牵强，不算是个轻松的电影
这个最好笑的主演竟然是导演本人，确实是有点厉害啊。最开始看见说中国人吃企鹅有点生气，不过后来他自己圆回去了，挺好。主角都很有特色，非常有意思，尤其是那两个孩子爹，真的很爆笑。
最喜欢的是105分钟之后的那三分钟，虽然现实是生活永远都回不到以前的样子了。“如果我们同一天出生就好了，那样我们会同一天死亡，大家都不会难过。”
还能给这个题材创作出喜剧真是不容易，不过看片子的模式确实也很难做到效果明显。
并非常规的剧场版，而是加长的OAD。保持了艺术品级的制作，延续偏欧式的绘本风，同时增加了配音。篇幅扩充后，反而丢掉了短片留白的神韵，时隐时现的配乐和二人波澜不惊的语调缺乏感染力。前段汐华和老师的小屋恬静生活十分温馨，随着中段日常被打破，和谐的观感变得朦胧起来。作为和漫画捆绑发售的OAD，通过隐藏设定的神秘感吸引观众去原作一探究竟。ED「Touch of Hope」加一星
