The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 西方没有打败俄国，只是骗了他们，早晚有一天他们会苏醒的。这个我国的“睡狮”论差不多。
能看出来网飞花了不少钱，但是真的好无聊。这种片子最重要的就是有趣，但是这么大场面的打斗是如何做到无聊的我也很费解。而且又顺带黑了一下中俄，真无语了，加上人设，简直刻板印象大集合。
战斗戏干净利落，感情戏文艺深沉，毛子果然是敢打敢爱的民族。
