The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 其实每个人都在努力地活着，用自己的方式。每个人也都有自己离开世界的方式，这个就是由每个人生存的方式决定的。片子倒是拍出了西部片的特有味道，音乐也很好听。

慢节奏的稀泥巴乡村西部，还是得有酒吧有**的西部才西部。
内心里免不了跟不可饶恕比较，衡量半天也只能在下不才搪塞过

如果能拍到《老无所依》那种气氛就好了，人家男主捡到钱当晚就跑路，老坑利你捡了钱也不会跑，也不会灭口，还救了个同党，我在屏幕看都知道你傻，不顾自己也顾一下儿子啊，还说自己是老江湖……这编剧就编得有点过分忽悠观众了。
有关游侠（也有说是暴徒的）比利小子传奇故事的再续写，剧情简洁紧凑，迟到的悲剧宿命终就上演。本片还原“古法酿造”，将正统西部片再一次忠实呈现，荒凉孤寂，爱与热血以及死亡，以及成长，以及躲不掉的债，皆如牛仔梦回。
混乱的西部，开始的想法没错，黑吃黑。

不论节奏、剧情、人物都非常经典的西部片，能想到老亨利不是一般人，但谁又能想到老亨利居然就是比利小子呢
