The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 主角台词好几句和真嗣君一毛一样，性格人设都像，而声音更是完全一样，我想不到緒方以外任何人能发出这个声音，结尾字幕出来果然写着緒方惠美！EVA浓度太高了。
从节奏到剧情，基本是对原作的重现。
本来觉得乙骨是阴暗病娇款，结果是锭真嗣第二。五条悟最后对夏游杰说的那句应该是“欢迎回来”吧。
感觉mappa真的不擅长处理情感，微表情、人物情绪的铺垫与转折，总是时好时不好。
等不到DVD先看了枪版，真的过瘾，好久不见五条悟甚是满足，最后那句我们是纯爱简直大爱。
在樱花上看的95分钟，可能是少了10分钟。没有超出期望，及格分。
8分。在北美看到的剧场版，来看的观众还不少。虽然是0传，但对于路人群体还是需要一些接受空间。画面很好看、人物造型都非常不错、打斗也做的很棒，但剧情对于没看过动漫的人来说还是有些突兀。
