The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 首映当晚就看了3D,画面真是蛮酷炫的没得说但Marvel加入了这么多恐怖元素也是没想到。。。Wanda的角色走向也是。。。不剧透了但好像没有meet my expectations?不过不管怎么样也比Spiderman好看多了
有的画面确实不适合小孩看，但只有画面不适合，惊悚恐怖的场景气氛渲染不到位。
多好的编剧和演员啊。漫威的野心真大啊。（多好的手表广告！
Sam Raimi能不能出这样一版Director's Cut，开头就这样：奇异博士和旺达，王，美国妹妹一起开车前往一个林中小木屋度假...那么问题来了，车谁开？
形式大于内容，从头打到尾就是说…看的略累……结局也是有点“就这❓”但多元宇宙的概念和构建非常好！有些画面非常惊艳…再加上本尼迪的出色表演，还是值四星的😍
特效真的赞👍 故事虽然老套但为了将各种魔法效果串起来也算不错了！很有想象力的作品！

很好看很酷啊 看我最爱的两个英雄打架 有点惊悚但是没有暗夜博士吓人 近期最满意的一部电影 弥补了奇异博士1没有在电影院看的遗憾

还可以，但是能少一些无关紧要的剧情就好了，有点强行幽默。
不神但大胆，不再是英雄成长改变的套路模板，划破类型窠臼，真好奇原来160分钟版本的样貌。

“一曲肝肠断，天涯何处觅知音！” 平行宇宙的特性导致桥段之间略显跳脱，像无数个短视频拼成一部大电影。不过这样做的好处是扎扎实实地做出了一场视听盛宴，我已经很久没用“视听盛宴”这么俗的词形容电影了。再回到老生常谈的争论，电影可不可以是主题乐园？ 也许可以……前提是这个主题不至于太过幼稚。比起蜘蛛侠3，虽然超级英雄的终极大招还是“话疗”，不过这个多重自我与无限宇宙的呈现还是要技高一筹。
漫威目前最黑暗最邪气的一部，爽啊！可以当小半部B级恐怖片来看了。中途一些老面孔的出现引来了阵阵掌声和欢呼。博士接近末了撒了一把宇宙级的狗粮[旺柴]
不过里面有些东西确实出彩，音符大战（最佳视觉设计）还有附身死人的鬼混斗篷帅炸了
娱乐性很强的电影，恐怖元素蛮有意思，值得一看
这种电影，要么在电影院看，要么窝在卧室里和一两个人悄么声的看，要不然真是辜负了山姆雷米煞费苦心在漫威固定公式里营造的惊悚气氛。缺点明显，美国小姐充当麦格芬工具人。反派女巫承担角色弧光，又被MCU拿来受苦看着真心疼。主角博士负责和意难平再纠缠一下圆个梦，角色的亮点都放在了新能力的探索上，还是相当于为“宇宙大局观”牺牲了角色塑造，成为奇观制造机。但不得不说，这视听效果在BFI看的我真是炸裂：多元宇宙跃迁、女巫屠杀、五线谱大战…山姆雷米是把憋了这么多年的拍摄欲全给发泄出来了吧，已经把自己在MCU的后路给断了，因为再拍续集可能就真没招儿了（笑）所以影院buff给总评加了半颗星。但本片只是再次确认了一遍多元宇宙的存在，并且大笔一挥挥霍了不少大腕儿的客串机会，现在还是看不出漫威在新阶段的玩法。
