The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 本来是很不错的创意，杰克曼和弗格森的组合也很完美，硬生生给套了个俗套又狗血的剧本。还有，不得不吐槽吴彦祖的角色不知道是怎么搞的，实在太糟糕了……Writing is goushi。
没有一直盯着屏幕看，所以没有传言的那么晕。一镜到底的拍摄似乎很适合这种小范围的战斗戏，有几个正反派视角转换的镜头很流畅，只不过反派的战斗力太弱了点，用了人肉炸弹开路后还磨蹭半天才清场。看着玩儿还可以，仔细推敲就会发现bug太丫的多了
阿金斯近几年最佳电影，无论是室内的CQB还是室外的各种战术掩护射击都让人看得大呼过瘾，再配合（假）一镜到底的这么多长镜头，完全可以忽略剧情（One single continuous take倒是真的点题）
就是太无脑了，手持摄影晃得头晕。
动作枪战片一镜到底很牛逼，考验摄影跟拍，演员以及导演功力！斯科特阿金斯再次大爆雇佣军团！小岛基地被袭击还无法求救，缺乏应急预案太不专业！漂亮小姐姐阿什丽格林尼一枪未开就挂了太失败！看来如果不是海豹小队，小岛基地早被攻陷，就尽扯蛋吧！
这个形式还是有点意思的，所以给四星鼓励一下。剧本一般，有个别比较亮眼的地方，但也有很多时候让人感觉编得不怎么考究。
思念某个人就是人生的一部分，不经历这种悲伤，就无法体会甜蜜。
唯一的看点是一镜到底，很牛。打戏就有点像使命召唤了。

还不错，现实版的CS训练营，虽然最后主角光环杀了太多人有点过分，不过反恐的逻辑和反思还是掩盖了保安体系的儿戏。稍微有点长，后面有些拖沓。

你以为它是科幻片，其实它是个爱情片，而且男主很长情。
斯科特阿金斯近几年最出色的动作片，没有复杂的回旋踢套招，也没那么多逼逼赖赖，上来就开干，中弹特效不错，打击感也有，孤岛省成本，剧情上也能圆过去，就是总有一群煞笔看动作片非得扣剧情挑毛病，小成本B级片拍的又刺激又爽要尼玛自行车，看特么王家卫不迷糊就高级，到这就晃晕了又要吐的，一群煞笔
打是从头打到尾了，但是80%的场景是黑乎乎的。一镜到底虽然说起来牛逼，到底好不好还得最终效果看。最终看来一般般，再加上剧情的拉胯，看起来就是一顿砰砰砰。
一直游离在剧情之外，虽然从头突突突到尾，但却无法带入进去。
一镜到底，长镜头迷恋，都是病（变态），有些要治，有些可以带病坚持，形成“我们时代的神经症人格”。
【黑米影库】除了那一镜到底的手法让我看的眼睛疼，其它完成度都非常不错，无脑爽片不需要太多的逻辑和剧情！

科幻元素外壳，但实质是一个浪漫爱情故事，且营造了一种末世的悲凉感。休叔和Rebecca Ferguson是很来电的，我很开心他们可以继《马戏之王》之后再合作。吴彦祖也很性感，虽然出演反派但与一般的小混混不同，而且为体现未来华语普及，中英文混合，六块腹肌给人留下深刻印象。记忆重现的技术在片中多次出现略显得重复累赘。能感觉到是女导演，而且类似《西部世界》但令人震惊的视觉效果太少了，所以整个下来感觉没高潮
