The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 没想到竟然成了后疫情时代的一个延续性节目了，世界只是在变得更糟糕和魔幻罢了，总结下、戏谑下，用演员来完成脱口秀式的槽点挺有趣的。对立可能是世界过去一年的主要标签，而无例外我们的周遭依然平稳且不会有人来总结这一年发送多少魔幻的事情，fake “peace and love ”。

我认为现实生活中这样的故事，应该少之又少。其实女主一开始的嘲讽，不信任，后面的想报恩，拿回自己的钱财、平稳的生活，再到自己不能生育的担忧，后面拯救两个小女孩，到独立3年在一所学校成长，再到最后和男主相拥，幸福快乐的生活。正是一部见证一个从小收到伤害的女孩，成长的电影。世界上这样绝对信任女主，给她温暖和家，放任他拥有自由选择权的男性，应该很少吧，所以片名才会叫《谁可以这样爱我》。太理想状态了，但是还是希望身处迷茫的女孩，像女主一样真真正正的找到自己，过好这一生。
主创也很愤怒，却克制，喜剧效果比Don’t look up更出彩。影视作品是展现一个国家意识形态的播种机。
