During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 北野武是喜剧的天才，柳乐优弥是表演的天才，成名后的call back是最佳段落。另外还是想说铃木保奈美太太太太太太好看了。
这是一部地位应当不输于入殓师的电影。结尾的长镜头是神来之笔。

实在没想到电影中面瘫的冷面大叔北野武居然是喜剧和漫才出身？！！而且这段传记确实拍的很好，情感表达流畅、细腻而真挚，特别是影片结束前那个时空交错的长镜头和师徒跨越时空的互动，简直是神来之笔！
结尾的长镜头真得是催泪，谁不想在晚年的时候有这么一个回眸长镜头呢。让人想起《堕落街传奇》里最后一集的长镜头。整个片子拍得非常工整流畅，没有太多花招，踏踏实实地讲完了北野武的这段经历，大泉洋和柳乐优弥发挥出色，张弛有度。能脑补出北野武看得时候骂骂咧咧说拍得什么玩意，然后又一边落泪嘴角抽搐的样子。
原来是在讲北野武的师父啊，就当看个北野武番外吧……
柳乐是要顶替北野武了吗
虽然get不到漫才的笑点，但是能get这群家伙的真。双面北野武，铁汉柔情典范，影帝歪嘴那一下还是很有神韵的。配乐好听。
要逗别人笑，而不是被别人嘲笑。剧末，武对着师傅的遗像，半调侃半吐槽的那番话，让人落泪。
用喜剧演绎一场悲剧，最后的长镜头不错，那些人事物都不曾磨灭。
总觉得影帝的形象跟北野武的谐星气质实在是有点不搭，毕竟北野武作为在世传奇个人风格实在是过于独特，是比较难诠释的，而影帝虽然很用力的在表演，不过也只是画皮难画骨罢了。倒是师傅这个角色选的不错，倒像是那种能够调教北野武的Aniki，结尾那个长镜头的回忆杀也比较有想法。
影帝演的北野武真的好北野武啊！！！看得我都忍不住学了起来，赶紧打住。迄今为止，我已经看了两版火花以及这部，剧情大抵相似，看到大泉洋演的师父落魄时，还是忍不住想起短剧开始，再次猛汉落泪……奔赴梦想的路总是那么艰难，但还是永远都不要忘记梦想啊。
又哭又笑，有被感动到。吐槽的点是老年北野武有点吓人。年轻女主有点像林依晨耶。
阿清居然是土屋演的！居然是土屋！这演技够打十个相方了。落窠臼的好看，因为很难想去掉搞笑的部分是不是好的。
谁曾想31岁的柳乐优弥手握麦克风指天大声唱道“让苍天知道我不认输”，去年他终于再次证明自己影帝的实力，扮演青年时代的北野武的传记电影《浅草小子》
阿武，记住，不要讨好观众，由你来告诉他们什么是有趣的。
“没人求你看，有得看是你的荣幸，给我乖乖闭嘴看下去”
师傅说：既然是谐星就要记得随时装傻搞笑。他一直记着师傅的话甚至在师傅的葬礼上都要讲几个段子调侃师傅。看似不合时宜，但其实深厚的师徒情义让人非常动容。
最后重回浅草法兰西座太好哭了。这片子倒是让我才真正get到了大泉洋。门胁麦越来越厉害了。铃木保奈美还是很美。“要在我这里演戏，可不要被别人笑，而是要逗人笑”对师匠真的肃然起敬。
