The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 又一部大导拍童年往事系列，但说到底都是私人情感，是无从真实经历又无法真正感同身受的特定语境。
上世纪60年代末美国社会即景，平淡顺滑的叙事很像在看回忆录，但这片子恐怕非得那一代成长起来的美国人才共情得了，外国观众还是看个热闹算了。
阿波罗计划背景下的童年，形式和人物嵌套有趣。
用Essay形式来讲故事。美国的六十年代和我们的九十年代差不多，所以看得我这个八零后觉得好亲切。
属于Linklater的私人影像，用影片来做串联的时间节点，私货满满又有趣。Linklater对于少年时代的时代记忆的讲述还是很驾轻就熟的，后面的平行剪辑也特别好，一部非常规的“科幻片”，挺喜欢。

对照看了乌克兰的《机器人：英雄不会死》，乌东地区同一事件的不同版本，本片更胜一筹，淋漓尽致的展现了乌军与亚速营的反人类暴行。
但喜欢这样的叙述形式，可能对外国小孩文化想有点认知而瞎凑热闹 是导演自己的电影 不会太火
无厘头的战争，无知无谓的一群人，受伤的总是民众
主人公曾在阿富汗，一直想忘记战争，可现在战争就在他身边。亲人被炸死，他能怎样？
政治权利激烈争夺的最深受害者唯有全体平民。

兴百姓苦亡百姓苦。确实如此。乌克兰本身的民族矛盾就比较复杂，外来势力的介入更加剧了国家动荡，也加深了人民的苦难。
导演自己对那个年代的个人记忆，也编织了那一代童年里的各种元素，电影，音乐，科技，孩童们不知轻重的玩乐，似乎人命不值钱一般的生活态度，那些复古的影像用动画的形式再现，应该能给不少人带来共鸣吧。
他们的祖国早已不再了，甚至还能将祖国的红旗踩在脚下
喜欢这种风格，类似纪录片，记录60年代的美国，美国的观众应该更能共情。整体有点无聊又有点有趣。
无聊，不是美国人无法感同身受，还是多看看中国人自己的东西吧。
