The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 不是很客观的五星，实在是本人真的太喜欢看gay drama了。讨论gay community 中感情与肉体的归宿，以及gay小团体带给大家的力量，美好的假日男友 就如此沉浸吧
一开始还挺真实，越往后越狗血，最后竟然成了一部狗血心情鸡汤般的温馨爱情合家欢。。。浪费了这个背景，也让这个题材变得相当低龄化了。

不过整个叙事过程中确实重点和角度出了问题，Noah的旁白贯穿始终，又反复在自己和Howie之间横跳，情感力度始终有点打不到人，略微可惜了。

还是可以四星鼓励一下。JKB也太有颜有才了吧，自编自演。其实实质上还是有点段子集，但是好在俩亚裔男主的设置，一个旁白自述，另一个补白照应。突然发现，看完也没有那么想念在UWS的日子和FI的时光，挺好。
好久没看到这么欢乐的同志电影了…第一次觉得《Sometimes》这么好听，Brithey真gay icon！
