The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 情节很割裂，故事很平淡，甚至因为巴斯特基顿和《开罗紫玫瑰》珠玉在前故事并不显新颖，但还是足够真诚好看。不管选择哪一条路都会后悔，人生就是如此，就像陀斯妥耶夫斯基的话一样：爱具体的人，不要爱抽象的人，要爱生活，不要爱生活的意义。对这部电影的喜爱源于对电影本身的喜爱。
这种天生你才必发光的童话剧情看起来太假了，日剧也开始虚无，跟经济泡沫一样

电影本身3星。茨威格，还有电影的营造，加1星鼓励。看过原著，电影有故弄玄虚的感觉，不如小说精彩。

把太阳留住！把毕生都留给电影的电影人，是好难分心的。与其说是狗血三角恋，不如说是庸常生活与浪漫梦想之间的牵扯。最后一幕，园子步出银幕，从老人身上拉出的身影，毋庸置疑的生命力，正是无法在现实中把太阳留住的电影之神。九十岁的山田洋次浪漫透顶。另，影片中的大景深镜头妙极。山田电影中的笨男人真是太有趣了！
