The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 其实是一个既要又要的故事，这是人的天性当然无可厚非，但是它与爱的排他性对立，与普世的价值观对立。出路是什么，只能他们这个群体自己找了，我们再怎么样也不可能感同身受的，我们能做的就是包容不同。
前半部分的情节和节奏尚可，后面就一言难尽了。总体上不够打动人。
层层压迫，错的不是同性恋也不是女性，错的是这个世界（男权社会）。

作为少数不被认同的群体也许会很艰难吧
说教意识太强，故事太松散，道具蛮用心的，摄影服装 蛮专业的。只是不明白为啥分这么高，因为有曼德拉的政治光环？
自由的代价，，很高！！为了自由！！保持坚强！！
虽说是根据真事改编，但片中情节编得比较过分，煽得过于用力。影片成本不高，场景不大，基本相当于剧场表演。男主、女主两名黑人演员表现不错，演得挺有张力，值得加分。不过其中一些情节编得有些离谱，bug明显，因为借着“释放曼德拉”的由头，导演偏向同情“MK”，赋予他们很多“人性”的细节，让人们对他们最后的结局产生同情。

自由不是免费的。
想探讨的尝试很好但看完又觉得 不说明白 什么都没探讨深入
还是太仁慈，杀几个人质也许还有机会逃出生天
最开始由黑人男主问到“自由的代价是什么”。到最后由白人警察互相问到“自由的代价是什么？一切”
一个非常合格的小成本商业片，套在这样一个历史真实事件下去讲述，哪怕我们不是非洲人，也能快速的感受到那个时代世界所带来的歧视以及反抗，因为黄种人也好，地域歧视也好，我们谁又能说没经历过那种不平等的对待呢
另外三位南非“革命先驱”在片中形象真的一点都不高大全。男主卡尔文有哮喘，也不像是特别聪明的人。但当你看到他们为了那个在当时根本不可能达成的目标而拼上一切时，又深深的使人动容……
