The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 中国武侠片+桃花源记Marvel版， 如果不是梁朝伟完美演绎绝世钟情的爱妻男， 还可以挽救这部电影， 不然最多只打两颗星。 主角面像实在太路人。 剧情也是一贯Marvel的戏路， 科幻片+时不时的搞笑元素， 当然也和钢铁侠的电影有联系。 有两个彩蛋， 不要错过。 第一个彩蛋最精彩！
观感如同莎翁戏剧，北欧风情拿捏很好。剧情进展缓慢至极，各种情节叙述详略安排不好，但架不住镜头、画面、色调、服饰等方面的考究和气度。北欧神话自成一体，恢弘且残暴，电影很符合这一气质，但说什么epic是过头，毕竟情节过于简单，内涵和神话结合不够。

罗伯特艾格斯水准大失，通篇特别重的游戏CG质感，甚至缺乏《绿衣骑士》那样精彩的调度。

3.5制作精良，就是剧情以现在眼光看来像非常冗长的游戏，到了等级才能解锁的武器，强行的剧情杀和末日火山般史诗单挑boss战。可能是服务仪式感的一种妥协吧。哈姆雷特的改造倒是非常不错。

对维京民俗不是很感冒，但是其中的cult art show太赞了，直呼内行！导演考虑考虑专职发展cult片吧。
画风依旧冷冽、暗黑和血腥，但已然没了前作的精致考究，史上最寒碜的王子复仇记，空有影像，毫无内涵。
