The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 和《杨之后》一样探讨科技与人的情感主题。感觉这样的类型更适合做成《黑镜》小而美的故事，做成电影反而冗长。
克隆人、面对死亡、身份困惑，都是老生常谈，不过这片好在放弃讲道理，把重点放在描述情绪，很感性，大量面部特写，配合音乐营造氛围，很适合在夜深人静时体会，一个人临终前回忆了自己所有难以言说的情感，看着另一个“自己”鸩占鹊巢，对家人的无私和嫉妒的自私交织，他的符号继续存在于社会，作为一个个体却被遗忘，这可能就是死亡的真相，不管留在身后的是什么都不是真实的“我”。
3.5 很迷影，质感也可以爆掉9成超英片，但是节奏跟笑点都比较off
闷。
看原片，节奏缓慢难以入戏。转而看解说，更觉得耽误了时间。我不认为这个电影值得这么高的分。被高分骗进来了。
软科幻外壳下的关于生命的探讨，通过克隆人，男主像照镜子一般实现了生命中的最后一次自洽（男主演技不错，人物弧光很明显）。想疑问的是，既然剧情中的科技已经可以克隆人，那为什么不可以治愈本体的不治之症？

这部电影的外包装还不错，但是内核我真的有点受不了，齁得慌。
本来想着可以不抱罪恶感地死去也挺好的，还是看得难受。
这只软萌萌的邪恶的反派，曾经也是个天真烂漫，喜爱自由的小可爱呀。
把伦理问题拍成鸡汤糖水片就算了，还拍这么长……
