The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 影片从婚礼开始，到葬礼结束，末尾新生的宝宝又来到唐顿。人们总是来来往往，而我们也终将幸福地生活下去。
科幻细节很精致，故事创意都很好，不过看下来就感觉特别平淡，好想法没表现好，可惜了

终于在英国当了新唐顿屯的第一波观众！！（周围观影的全是白发苍苍的老头老太）可以说依然是回馈剧粉的“福利型电影”，有笑有泪的“合家欢”。剧情本身不值五星，但情怀值得十星。

超级愉快的一次观影经历。明明没有什么煽情的情节和桥段，看到最后感动得泪流满面。

面面俱到，入情入理。一部真正在唐家屯拍大电影的唐顿大电影，用对默片时代的祭奠映衬庄园一家的新生，对逝去的隐忧与真正的逝去、隔代间的发乎情止乎礼等几组映照扎实得无懈可击。无论对于大电影本身还是剧集IP而言，都是一场盛大而优雅的谢幕。
