The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 打着都市情侣情感现状的幌子，却始终切不中有说服力的现实问题，相聚与分离都显得过于儿戏，男性与女性被冠上了不同的滤镜，讨好女性观众的意图过于直白。可悲的是，明明现实中的情侣日常有太多更加值得讨论的争吵原因，复合也并非只是因为感动于听取了曾经的建议，将分手责任归因到工作忙碌或是否成功是罕见的，往往一方不爱了才是身边最常听到的原因，而对对方的不满也时常造就了来自双方口中两种不同的解释……
翻版《花束般的恋爱》，得出结论一线城市是人类fire之敌
一些俗套剧情加上我颈椎病犯了头痛要死，放到一个小时左右直接走出电影院并且以后应该也不会再把后面的剧情补上了
毫无新意特别平淡，可能听身边朋友吐感情苦水都比这个有波澜一点。拍得也很没劲。部分演员演技和台词是肉眼可见的差……

电视剧衍生品，票房成绩能够说明普通观众的需求还是普世价值观的温情。

综合来看，跨年档最不恶心的电影，毛晓彤杨玏演技也挺好。
