90多岁高龄的伊斯特伍德依旧能自导自演一部美墨公路剧，这本身就是值得敬佩的。虽然明显力度不足了却也能彰显老直男的魅力。一段墨西哥公路故事，是让老少两人发现彼此内心的旅程，小孩子明确了自己的未来，老爷子也找到了自己的归属，一个向前一个向后，彼此都调转了方向。90多岁的老爷子或许通过这部戏也在告诉人们，并不一定前进就是胜利。
