The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 唱给女友的那段击中了泪点，推荐给了做音乐编剧和音乐人朋友，身边也不乏这样有趣又有才华的灵魂，都值得好好珍惜，现实世界里因为这些看似不太现实的人的存在才会丰富和精彩。
但也说了凡事尽力而为
贫瘠地燃烧，燃烧到贫瘠。电影一般，内核动人，一流的故事、二流的剧本、三流的制作。很Beatnik，很社畜关怀，依靠free writing和improvising的创作完全解构世界的隐喻和意义、摆脱了象征秩序的压迫，叫嚣出最原始最纯粹的自我表达。我们为什么要玩火？当一败涂地的现实与热爱共存，人就获得了去挣扎去燃烧的所有动力。
音乐剧粉滤镜加成，看到了很多Rent的影子，LMM这情怀牌很会打啊。
恰逢故事中的年龄段，社会时钟一直滴答滴，一直在抗争着摆脱焦虑跟着自己的节奏走。电影很工整，音乐很流行，加菲进步了。
两代才子惺惺相惜的隔空致意。加菲尔德太棒了。

梦想与爱情，配上音乐是绝佳的组合。
普通影迷打3分，theatre goer給4星。LMM導得算ok，除了情節有點散，技巧有些粗糙，但勝在情真意切。熟悉的RENT音節只從琴鍵傾瀉一小節，非常克制。我愛Joshua Henry~
4.5 Sunday里的致敬太让人激动了…一本充满了强烈情感色彩的传记。
這部戲激不起我内心絲毫漣漪。。。可能是題材hit不到我吧。
看的时候我感觉这样的一种形式很明显是在向《灵魂歌王》靠拢，但是今年另一部奥斯卡冲帝大热门是更为传统形式上的传记片，只能说加菲在史皇面前还是嫩了点，看看有没有奇迹发生吧，本身的人物塑造和少年感都是非常不错的

“牢笼还是翅膀，去问鸟吧；恐惧还是爱，别回答，行动比语言更响……”
前面的剪辑一度难进入，后面渐入佳境，最喜欢的几幕是泳池的音谱和天台的想象。好像一只蜡烛啊，尽管短暂但拼命燃烧，发光发热。如果这样活过的话，也足够精彩了吧。
