精致的剧本是本片最大看点。面对一场长达五个月、复杂且琐碎的庭审，要在俩小时里编织成一个戏剧实在不易，但索金完全做到了，把庭审、庭外和前情三条线做了不落窠臼的精妙穿插，好几场平行剪辑戏的台词写得漂亮极了！编剧还有意弱化了最容易调动观众情绪的暴动戏，有意略去了当年请金斯伯格等名人出庭作证的噱头。可惜索金的导演功力还是欠火候，否则这片就是又一部精彩绝伦的《社交网络》！
艾伦索金的剧作技术太恐怖了，但私以为这部片子应该在此基础上有更精致深沉的影像设计以及一个更独道的导演灵魂。

真好看。Aaron Sorkin写了这么好的剧本，然后找了些英国演员来挑大梁。Mark Rylance，Eddie和Sacha Baron Cohen都太棒了。

好久没有一场表演能同时带来两种眼泪了。
最后的总结陈词是肾上腺素，瞬间拔高。
很流畅。两段暴动的剪辑极好。所以到最后这场审判是为了什么，游行又是为了什么。最初的那个目的到底是什么是重要的，也是最容易被模糊的。不是有罪判定不是个人信念，是最后被念出来的近5000个因战争去世的名字。
对白如子弹，剪辑如利刃，索金不给与观众任何喘息的机会，切莫松懈与退缩。电影收纳这场过去的伟大战斗，又在今天将其精神重释于世间，这是带有革命诉求的左翼运动纽带。举起坚定的拳头，无论那时还是此刻，我们都格外需要和迫切。“全世界都在看”，牺牲不会白费，敌人不会长久，请坚信。

forget cross-examination, settle in for a 2-hour long cross-lecturing
编与导上的掌控力把很琐碎繁杂的长达百天的审判拍得通俗易懂，既不枯燥也不刻意煽情，更难得是从被审判者到审判者，每个人物都在有限的时间内被刻画得淋漓尽致。“Do you have contempt for your government? ” - "It's nothing compared to the contempt my government has for me.”所以，是「在“自由”地与强权对抗后仍旧感到巨大的无力」绝望，还是「连“自由”地对抗都不曾拥有」更绝望？
一切的不公，至少还可以说出来。另外，美国警察的所作所为，看来和政体的意志是一致的。
