The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 好吵。小时候最爱看的动画片一个是这个一个是超人总动员hhh看之前就知道不好看但是还想看 比3好吧我觉得
最终沦落为贩卖设定和鬼点子的主题乐园，低龄化和夸张化的处理似乎已经让影片的定位发生了改变——平面配角的公路旅行团似乎永远是情怀式敷衍的最佳解。原本还有的点到社会性议题，比如代际冲突和阶层苦恼，现在都已经彻底无迹可寻。剧本中的戏剧性也是最偷懒的、毫无新意的。甚至唯一逗我发笑的居然是那些最低级趣味的包袱。只能说，我屡屡反思好多电影人现在这种不思进取的情况，殊不知我这样仍旧会毫不犹豫的买票的傻瓜才是火上浇油的存在。可是，我还不是无法割舍所谓的“情怀佳作”那样的希望啊。
能出到第四部也是不容易了 。约翰尼的人设太好了。
45分/前几部也称不上佳作，这部更是无聊，只能说是狗尾续狐...
好沉重的故事…但是挺喜欢的，喜欢这种复杂性。西岛叔含泪的眼神，香川叔肯定地说会帮助エリ，以及松本润天真又执拗地望向天空的时候……太多的瞬间我都很喜欢。这个戏的节奏不是所有人都能接受，但认识他起已经第7个年头，在不变也在成长，谢谢（确实不像电影倒是真的hh）

没有前之前的精彩，但是还够欢乐。剧情设定还是蛮有趣的。
感觉一集不如一集了。就是在消费之前积累的人气。而且片长也变短了，亚当·桑德勒也不来配音了。这些细节都印证着本系列在走下坡路。记得第三部还是在电影院看的。而本片似乎没有公映计划或者引进计划，而是直接网络首映。我理解这就相当于曾经的“仅发售DVD”。有点可惜。毕竟还看过2D版衍生动画剧集。
四部看下来，果然小梅是这片永远的主心骨，不论怎么样都一直很坚强勇敢，不仅是个好女儿也是个好妻子好母亲。全片插科打诨那么久，让人眼前一亮的反而是最后结尾旅社重新修好之后，3D转2D的画面，让人感到了这片的创作欲。
编剧黔驴技穷了，傻女婿聒噪的烦人,平淡无奇的收尾，这个系列早该结束了。还有以前看这动画还有种感觉温情在里面，现在我感觉就像是冷冰冰的程序控制着动画里的人物演戏一般。
女婿为啥变成怪物了也不能帮人类老丈人拿个行李。。。事情起因是他，最后也是为了救他，可谓是一名女婿引发的血案。
只看过1，而且已经基本忘了内容是啥，但还是乐得前仰后合。也许是我心情愉悦时笑点特别低？现在好像对这种公式化的片子容忍度大了不少，都出到4了，公式化简直太正常不过了，难度在于当大家都知道是什么故事时，能把逻辑顺清楚，把故事讲好。我觉得已经做得很不错啦~
握手永远让我心动。这部的剧情真的不行，新人的演技也不行，普普通通没有脑袋。案子了结坐在那里抬头的润润毛茸茸的，拍拍小律师
很多年之前看的前作，很多具体剧情已经记不清了。其实大结局的故事乏善可陈，但是还是蛮适合打完工之后看着轻松欢笑一下。
最好看的地方大概是
不用动脑筋看的故事，颜色鲜艳，角色可爱，配乐轻快。
西岛没演成真坏人把我弄郁闷了；（ 枉费SP时那不一样的有趣的阴险气场///再仔细一看更郁闷了，啥破片子啊，为了凸显主角，别人弱智的弱智、道德沦丧的道德沦丧，问题是主角的气场让人非常不待见。拜托西岛桑别再接这种片儿了，真正一点儿意思都没有，纯被消费。
没有前几部好看了 结尾是缺钱还是咋 能把动画拍全吗
想想那位被冤枉的父亲，和早早操劳去世的母亲，唉。
