The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 导演想要进行现实主义的表达，但故事逻辑有点问题，女主表演强大。
桑德拉的演技多到要溢屏，故事就算了，太平，浪费了她的出色演技。一个不算出色的梗，拼命用！就是有桑德拉，也不行！
最后反转略为惊喜，其他拍出了很美国的样子，但五年前的水平。
它的故事让人想起《海边的曼彻斯特》，但多加了很多戏剧化的桥段，让它看起来很连续剧。

基调隐忍沉重，结合季默大师配乐，亦姐亦母的救赎之路，桑德拉布洛克的表演很传神。
最先看布洛克的电影，是她主演的紧张刺激的《生死时速》。转眼27年过去了，她也老了。
平庸的片子 影后级的表演 但我依然给5星 只因为拨动了我的心扉！
3.5星，前半部分故事有多引人入胜，结尾就有多庸俗潦草
桑德拉演技炸裂，单凭那张脸就足够表明过往一切的心酸和凄楚。
生而为人真可怜 可怜又真实 每一个人都是对的 每一个立场都无法反驳
结局就这样？纯粹为了给女主秀演技的吧……其他点都是浅浅的点到为止
电影很朴实，平静中隐约有种神秘力量，两个小时的时间，竟然在毫无波澜的剧情中不知不觉度过了，没有想看的兴奋点，到最后也没有大起大落。
人物有点像《三块广告牌》中的女主有些愤怒，坚持。桑德拉的眼神，表情现在好有戏。
