The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 因上海疫情而看
英国抗疫纪实电影，揭露现状抨击体制的，然而现实依然还在。。。
又是一部类似疫情纪录片的电影，又是恍惚着感叹这是两年前的事情，又是无奈的期盼这一时代能快点结束的心情。
这种电影总让我 或者我们 思考一个问题 到底啥是电影/
口音英语听着挺亲切就是有点费劲。
回忆起了疫情刚开始经历的那种恐惧，焦虑，紧张，孤独，无助，想逃。片子很纯粹很干净，它几乎再现了普通人会遇到的各种状况，是人性的真实反应。我们拍不了这样的片子，只能拍成主旋律家国情怀感动中国的献礼片。而我们只需要一点点真实的共鸣而已

“看护是在漫长的历程中不断抑制权力滥用的过程，是一种非暴力的实践，是一种长期对抗欲望和权力感的英雄主义。”
当然本片也不是每个方面都做得优秀，最后Sarah和Tony的感情线就显得非常突兀，而一味地控诉也让我觉得说教意义太浓重。但作为当下为数不多的讲述新冠疫情的电影，这种在大事件中描写小人物的故事比流水账式的记录每一个大事件的更能让人共情。
最后女主在警车上的镜头缓慢推进到正脸，控诉着警察，控诉着僵化的防疫政策。男主回护理院的镜头拍的不像回家，像进地狱……
在灾难疫情下的个体恐慌、无助、质疑与终归人性中美好一面的救赎与信念，片子前后还是有些割裂的，而且人物关系与情感呈递显得缺乏动机与铺垫，对社会制度的直面控诉也缺乏力量。但比某片展示的更为个体，敢于直面制度问题而多给一颗星吧。

看到的第一部关于新冠的剧情电影，比新闻更直观地感受护理人员的痛。
