剧本很好，但人物刻画有点儿弱。虽然巴尔扎克为了突出幻灭感设置了悲剧和救赎的结尾，但吕西安还是应该手撕了上流社会和投机资本家，革命万岁！

不知道是演员扮相、行为举止不够古典，还是拍摄手法有问题，总有种现代人在演古装戏的违和感。而且故事拍得不甚有吸引力，影片时长又有两个半小时，让人情不自禁开始走神。
