The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 原本觉得不够高明，直到最后一刻才回过味来；妙就妙在，谁也不知道妻子的漫画内容是真是假，她为自身营造了最恐怖的神秘感，一如“消失的爱人”，这场精妙的复仇足矣令老公对她一世牵挂。
开头的戏还很不错，但是小主角进来后受众年龄垂直下降。套着一个很俗套的剧情，靠与对立两方无关的一个人调节积累了几十年的矛盾最后大团圆，无趣。（怪兽很橡胶质感）
红色海兽黄色眼睛，很明显了吧。舆论都是君主编织的阴谋，为了利益不断侵犯海兽的领地，操纵言论，鼓动战争，自己锦衣玉食，人民流血牺牲，现实写照。
其实有些部分还挺有意思的，两个演员也都很不错。
？？？？？史上最奇葩复仇，轻描淡写，绕了一大大大大大大圈，就只是为了让他画漫画。
3.5 小清新版《消失的爱人》，可悲的婚姻关系，人性的极限拉扯，有点不太满意的是你们可是在预告片里用了plastic love当bgm的剧组啊，正片也太不刺激了
金子大地小哥真的好撩，奈绪真的太欲了，一度以为剧情要向她饰演的主编角色和漫画家妻子的角色靠近，然后产生情感。
颜色鲜艳有质感。奇观和海兽量太少，就有个大蜗牛壳和4个巨型海兽出场，既然剧情上使不上劲海兽场景上应该再发发力。最后巫婆的诅咒是实现了吗？船长失去所有。
剧情一般但是海兽是真的萌啊，尤其是小蓝，太可爱了
是的，如你所见这部电影具有一切海上冒险题材所需的元素：神秘、怪异、险恶、喜剧、动作，精彩的配乐，外加媲美皮克斯的精致画面。剧情紧凑，高潮迭起，让人全神投入直到片尾字幕滚动。
海兽样子不是很Q，3D动画总是大人孩子都爱看的。每个细微表情都到位，人类总是爱先挑起战争。动物才为了保护自己反击。
厉害极了！前有“驾驶”我的车，这部是驾驶“我”的车。责编的角色真棒……整个电影没有一个女性把男人当回事
是不是现在只有有人物感情和什么怪兽再加上好一点的画质就以为可以收买观众了？
画面不错，大航海时代背景很喜欢，教育意义也不错，剧情要素略显老套，总体还不错。
完全被题目误导，内容有点奇妙物语那种怪异风格，节奏没把握好，本来是个不错的双向浮气片。柄本佑这个角色一直一脸挫賽，真的完全没魅力。黑木华也是依旧跟谁都没CP感，也无法感觉她影后的演技，真的看见脸就讨厌，纯黑粉
更多的是迎合了多数人对待出轨的另一半用同样出轨的方式施以报复的心理吧。漫画的设定还是巧妙的，除此之外，就只能说中规中矩了。不知为什么，本是很喜欢黑木华的，但这部电影里的黑木华却一点也喜欢不起来，大概是我从心底里厌恶对爱情不忠的人和事吧。

黑木华演起这种温柔腹黑角色真的意外的合拍，柄本佑那种颓丧废柴的野男人气质真的好戳我。结尾太有力量了，剧本很棒！很轻松的一个复仇片，轻松愉悦但是非常带感。
